Adivasis not getting forest land deeds because Govt says now they live in city!

My name is Raja Rathod. I am calling from Dornapal in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. The population of Dornapal is 3-4000 but 3 years back it was declared a Nagar Panchayat by showing a much bigger population. More than 100 families of adivasis live in Dornapal for more than 35 years but their Forest Rights applications are not progresing because the officials say the act does not apply in cities. The adivasis are demanding that Dornapal be made a village again. For more Raja can be reached at 09479012000
