Sunil Yadav is calling from Salaiya Davar para in village Nawadih, Post Krishnanagar, thana Tirkunda in district Balrampur Chhattisgarh to say that they dont have any hand pump in their part of village where 12 families live. They had one well which has dried up. Now we walk half a kilometer to fetch water from the only well which has some water left. We have requested officers also in Gram Suraj but no help. There are two hand pumps in Harijan colony of Badokhar village in Hinauti panchayat of Sirmaur tehsil in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh but both are broken from 8-9 months. Public health and engineering dept visited for repair but has not completed the work. People are bringing water from a kilometer in the middle of summer.
