People use local medicines for snake bite and many die

Not enough supply of subsidized seed, fertilizer in Jharkhand
Uttam Gayali, a farmer in Jharkhand says that the centre sanctioned more than one lakh sixty thousand tons of food supplies ( for drought relief) But only about sixty thousand tons were supplied. After three years of drought, the area has got rains and the farmers expect to get their own crops this year. Official demanding half of the pension as bribe!

He says Govt has many schemes for poor but they are getting snatched by better off people with connivance of lower level bureaucracy. Govt has a scheme where these women are illigeble to get a support of Rs 400 per month but the local official is demanding half of the pension as bribe.
