खिलखिलाती धूप खजूर का पेड खडा है
लेकर बैठे डिग्रियां हज़ार
पर सीखा नहीं हमने शिष्टाचार
किया दिन भर तर्क
क्या है फर्क
भूले हम सभ्य व्यवहार
याद है सिर्फ त्यौहार
मस्तिष्क गर्भ दिल में बबूल है
मगर कमरा वातानुकूल है
पडोसी से नहीं वास्ता
टेलीफोन पर घण्टों वार्ता
मरीज के हाथ में वैद्य की नाडी है

मिलना हुआ अब दुष्वार
आलमारी में कानून की किताबें

Some “Guest teachers” from Patalkot area of Chhindwada district are complaining about the bad situation of education in that remote area. They say there are very few teachers and they need to walk 10 kms each day through hills to reach the schools. And if there job is converted to a “contract teacher” work that would help them do their job better

कामिनी हर मोड पर खडी थी बेसहारा
ना था कोई अपना, हर कोई था पराया
दुनिया के बोझ से झुक चला था कंधा
ऊफ न किया, डटकर खडी रही, लडती रही
खोजती रही राहों में, इस चाह में कोई निकले ऐसी राह

उडान भरने पर सवाल उठते
हर सवालों का जवाब देते

हर मुश्किल लम्हों में हार न मानते हुए अबला
अपना लम्बा सफर तय करती रही

और आखिरकार सबला बन गई
