No subsidized ration after death of head of family!
Santosh Indwar from Surguja district of Chhattisgarh is talking to a family who used to get 35 kg of rice under a special scheme for poor Schedule caste and tribe people. But since the death of the head of the family the name of the family has been removed from the list and the family is not getting any cheap ration. Govt must arrange night shelters for daily wage earners
Dilip Singh from Daily wage earners association in Lucknow says though daily wage earners play a very important role in upkeep of a city like Lucknow but government gives no facilities to these people coming from nearby districts. He said a recent survey has found that 18,000 people sleep on the footpath in the city. He says they demand that in every locality of 1 lakh people government must arrange for at least 2 night shelters so these people can have a decent life

Gram Sabha can stop illegal mining using Forest Rights Act

Illegal mining on forest land for Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojna
