He says officers and ministers have given many assurances but none has worked. He says we are grateful to Govt for eliminating Naxal terror from Suguja. we are fighting the terror of elephants here. A song in adivasi Nagpuri language describing effects of industry
Dineshwar Nayak is a poet and singer in Adivasi Nagpuri language in Jharkhand. He says the coal companies and factories are creating lots of problem for adivasi people. Water level is going down. Workers are dying at younger age due to pollution. Earth is emptying out for mines and houses are cracking. Peaceful protest against illegal mining needs your help
Kailash Meena from Sikar district of Rajasthan is reporting about ongoing protest against illegal mining. He says the farmers are sitting on peaceful dharna from 5th April. on 19th police tried to break the agitation by force, then on 4th May arrested 12 people including 6 women. They were illegally kept in jail for 2 days before being charged with unbailable offences. People have started hunger fast since and some of them are in bad situation. Govt putting up police station in my village, we don't want it...
Augustina Minz from Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh says Jashpur is a 5th schedule area. Here Govt needs to take permission from the Gram Sabha before doing anything. But without our permission they are putting up a police station in her village. She says we do not want the police station because we fear that police will misbehave with our daughters and misuse friendly fights after fun of festivals and put our youth in jail after calling them Naxalites.
