Request to farmers to try out Organic farming in paddy
Dhan Singh Marawi from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh says he is a agriculture worker with organisation called Jan Swasthya Sahyog. He has started an experiment of Organic farming in some villages after requesting them to keep aside a small area of land for the experiment. He says after couple of weeks the paddy is showing very good growth. He requests all the farmers to try out organic farming when farming is becoming very expensive. Story of a Jharkhand village during monsoon...
Bineshwar Nayak from Ramgarh district in Jharkhand is telling the story of his village in the monsoon. He says the connecting road to the village is in bad shape and it looks no vehicle will be able to enter the village for entire monsoon. Govt has approved construction of this road long back. But he says the current rains have washed away a small bridge which was a connection between 5 mohallas in the village. Now they remain divivded. He requests administration to help. Govt doing mining survey without permission of Gram Sabha
Bimal Labore from Kolhan area of West Singhbhim district of Jharkhand says Govt is doing survey of villages for Lime stone mining without consultation of Gram Sabhas. In some villages they have marked the areas to be mined. 3000 people came out in protest against it and gave a protest letter in name of Governor to local SDO. Unholy works in holy place of Rajrappa on Shravan Monday
