Request to start immunization work in Bilha block of Bilaspur
Dhananjay Anupam from Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh says no health immunization program is going on in the Bilha block of the district from last many months. Villagers have appealed to government to start the same but there is no reaction. This is causing big difficulty for the poor villagers and he would like to use this platform to request government to start the immunization work as soon as possible

Collector Bilaspur calls emergency meeting to tackle malaria
Praful Chandel from Bilaspur reports that Collector Bilaspur called an emergency meeting to discuss Malaria in the district and has givne various instructions. He has said whoever will bring Malaria patients to hospitals will be awarded and all the private hospitals have been instructed to transfer malaria patients to government hospitals where special beds and medicines are getting arranged for malaria patients

More than 100 died of malaria, deaths continues in Bilaspur
Praful Chandel from Bilaspur says that two women have died of malaria yesterday in Jan Swasthya Sahyog hospital in Ganiari in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh yesterday. He says it is a shame that such an old disease is still taking people’s lives. If government had sprayed Alpha Sypher Methylene simultaneously at all the places we could have stopped this menace and many lives could have been saved. More than hundred people have died of malaria in Bilaspur district itself in last few months due to malaria, he says

Thousands took out rally in Raipur demanding livelihood rights
Alok Shukla from Chhattisgarh Bachao Andolan is reporting about a March to assembly on 8th of December in Raipur. Due to unprecedented heavy rain in the whole state many people could not join the rally but more than 2000 tribals and struggling people took out a rally in rain and were stopped by police where they presented a memorandum signed by more than a lakh people demanding better implementation of PESA, FRA, NREGA and stopping harassment of activists and displacement from ancestral lands in the name of development

State wide anti liquor rally starts from Raipur on 2nd October
Kaladas Daharia from Chhattisgarh Sharab Virodhi Manch is reminding us about the start of Anti liquor state wide rally from 2nd October. He says the rally is also against Gutka, bidi, cigarette and all types of intoxicating agents. The rally starting from Shaheed Smarak Raipur will travel to all the 18 districts and will go to all the areas where government is trying to install a liquor factory and will culminate in a huge rally in Gandhi maidan in Raipur on 31st October. He appeals everyone to join in the movement
