Prrivate schools not obeying Supreme Court order on buses

Tameshwar Sinha from Kanker in Chhattisgarh says private schools are not obeying the order of Supreme Court which says that in every vehicle carrying school going children there should be one attendant and one teacher from the school. Call to make 2012 an year of movements for change...

Adivasi gets abuses for filing RTI, No action after complaint

Ram Singh Uike from Adivasi Vikas Parisad in Korba Chhattisgarh says he filed a RTI application to find about development schemes but got no reply. When he went to file an appeal he was abused by officials raising his tribe. Then he appealed to special police stations for tribals and tribal commissioner but neither has done anything nor he has got his information under RTI. Chief Minister's visit cancelled so is road repair work...

Bhim Singh Netam from Kawardha district in Chhattisgarh says earlier this month there was a program of Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh to visit his area. After the announcement the contractors started repairing the roads of Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojna but as soon as the CMs program got cancelled they have thrown away the road repair material around and have left the work incomplete.
