Tribals, and representatives from various grassroots organisations came on to the roads in Ranchi, on the 12th of March with drums and bugles, to give the clarion call for the safety of the Chhota Nagpur Tenancy act the law which helps them save land instead of negotiating its sale in the assembly.

They tell him that though they have NREGA cards but they have never got any work on that. They dug a well last year after Panchayat asked them them to do so but they are yet to get payment for the same. Gopinath Ghosh from Jharkhand is telling us about a Drum rally being planned in Ranchin on 12th March to protest any proposed change in Chhota Nagpur Tenancy act. By playing drums in the rally the adivasis will warn the members of legislative assembly that they will not tolerate any change in the CNT act.
