Our village pond was dirty and was not getting cleaned for ages. We had requested officers in many forums but no one helped. Then I recorded a message on CGnet Swara and after few days officers visited and work started. Now our pond is cleaner and we are happy. Ramlakhan Sahu is calling from Nashtgavan village in Jaba block of Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh and says more than 1000 people live in their village, they also have electricity poles but no wires and no electricity. Bhan Sahu is calling from Sharab Virodhi (Anti Alcohol) Protest in Raipur, Chhattisgarh and talking to Rajim Didi from Chhattisgarh Mahila Manch. She says Govt auctions take place in March every year and Govt is earning lots of money from it. Alcohol has destroyed many poor families but Govt is more concerned about income rather than the welfare of the citizens, she says.
