Request to save Salfi tree of Bastar which is dying due to unknown disease
Dr Mahesh Poyam from Bastar in Chhattisarh is drawing our attention towards the Salfi tree which is a big part of Bastar culture. He says a salfi tree is also major part of economy of Bastar tribals but from last few years due to some unknown disease many Salfi trees are dying. Leaving cattles unattended should be stopped by law to help farmers...
Mahesh Shukla from Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh is telling us about the tradtion of leaving cattles unattended after February till monsoon by farmers which is not allowing many farmers to take second crop. He says it is a bad tradition and it should change. May be Govt should bring a law to stop unattended cattles destroying crops. This will help many farmers. Organic agriculture experiment showing good results...
