Land deed under Forest Rights Act not respected by officials

Rajim from Chhattisgarh says tribals have got land in Forest Rights Act but the deeds given under the act are not respected by officials. When a person applies for land leveling work under NREGA that deed is not respected. Tribals are not getting seed or fertilizer against that deed. Collector Bilaspur calls emergency meeting to tackle malaria

Praful Chandel from Bilaspur reports that Collector Bilaspur called an emergency meeting to discuss Malaria in the district and has givne various instructions. He has said whoever will bring Malaria patients to hospitals will be awarded and all the private hospitals have been instructed to transfer malaria patients to government hospitals where special beds and medicines are getting arranged for malaria patients

Govt taking away land by force for upcoming power plant

An unidentified person from Surguja district of Chhattisgarh says that a power plant by IFFCO company is being built in his area. 11 villages are loosing their agriculture land due to the upcoming plant. He says people do not want the plant but government is taking away the land by force

Govt must act to stop continuing deaths due to malaria

Praful Chandel is reporting from a village in Bilaspur where he reached at 6 in the morning to witness death of a child who died of malaria last night. He says government must work to stop this menace but the government officials neither have any plans nor they want to talk about what they are planning to do to stop this dance of death which has taken more than 100 lives in this district of Chhattisgarh

More than 100 died of malaria, deaths continues in Bilaspur

Praful Chandel from Bilaspur says that two women have died of malaria yesterday in Jan Swasthya Sahyog hospital in Ganiari in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh yesterday. He says it is a shame that such an old disease is still taking people’s lives. If government had sprayed Alpha Sypher Methylene simultaneously at all the places we could have stopped this menace and many lives could have been saved.
