Road accident becoming a major public health issue
Praful Chandel from Bilaspur Chhattisgarh says the number of road accidents are increasing in such a speed that it has become a major public health issue. In places like Bilaspur where there are no public transport available people are forced to use private vehicles and people use it at which ever way they want in absense of strict implementation of rules which are giving rise to more accidents on road

Request to record death due to malaria on CGnet Swara
Praful Chandel is requesting everyone to call and record a message on CGnet Swara whenever any death due to malaria occurs near you. He says this way we will be able to analyse how many deaths have taken place due to malaria and take authorities to task. State authorities blame the center which is not correct and if we do not take the state authorities to task there will be more deaths due to malaria again in next season

Mitanins say government claim of tackling malaria is not correct
Praful Chandel is speaking after talking to two Mitanins in a village in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. He says the cases of malaria are still on and the claim of the govt that malaria has been brought under control is not correct. He says thanks to bad management of malaria the work of mitanins are also getting affected. Many people are putting the blame for malaria deaths on mitanins and they are also not co-operating with mitanins in their other works

Many questions on rehabilitation from Achanakmar tiger reserve
Praful Chandel from Chhattisgarh says government is displacing 43 villages from Achanakmar tiger reserve in Bilaspur district. Many non tribal residents and forest department is misguiding tribals with the rehabilitation package. 6 villages have been rehabilitated so far but he questions if government will be able to do the same for rest of the villages. He also questions if government displaces tribals from their forest then is it not against the basic reason of this state being created?

Many sick due to Malaria in Rajnandgaon district as well
Bhan Sahu from Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh reports that she has heard about malaria deaths in Bilaspur district in CGnet Swara. Similar situation is prevalent in Rajanandgaon district and nearby border area of Maharashtra where some have died and many are sick. Poor first go to quacks and when they do not get cured then go to bigger hospitals and loose lots of money in the process. She says government should be running awareness campaign about malaria and correct medicine should be made available
