Women get together to stop liquor sale in village in Rajnandgaon
Bhan Sahu is telling story of a village near Ambagarh Chowki in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh where there were 15 families who used to make liquor for their living. But village headman and some women got together and have forced those families to not make liquor. They say now children have also started drinking in the village and those families should find other occupation rather than selling liquor. She tells about two women in the village who are forced to live with their parents due to drinking habit of their husbands

15,000 march in Delhi to demand implementation of land laws

No one can take adivasi land without their permission as per law
Himanshu Kumar is talking about a Adivasi rally in Valsad district of Gujrat which was a culmination of a 2 week long rally to apprise the tribals about constitutional rights of the adivasis. Dilip Singh Bhuria who was one of the architects of the 5th schedule of the constitution said we need not demand anything from the government but we should declare that no one can come to our land without our permission, constitution gives us that right. People refuse to give land for coal mines in Dharmajaigarh
Rajesh Tripathi from Jan Chetna Raigarh is telling that in a public hearing for environment clearnace of land acquisition for coal mines of Dainik Bhaskar power plant in Dharmajaigarh on 28th february not a single person spoke in favor of the company and a crowd of more than 10,000 people from nearby 25 villages refused to give land. People damage vehicles of company seeking land for coal mines
Rajesh Tripathi from Raigarh in Chhattisgarh says today men and women of Dharmajaygarh has damaged 4 vehicles of Dainik Bhaskar group who wants to acquire land for coal mines for their power plant in the area. The administation has booked 150 people for the incident. He says this shows the anger of the local people and the determination that they do not want to give their land in the upcoming public hearing on 28th February. He appeals journalists and social activists from all over country to be witness to the hearing
