Mining is destroying forest near my village, please help...

Jitendra kumar Yadav from Jaipur in Rajasthan is distressed about the disappearing forests near his village. About 500 bigha of forests have been reduced to about 50 bighas by the operating crushers that belong to influential people in the area. Many species vanished from tribal areas in Chhattisgarh

Many Dalit,adivasi families declared dead in new PDS list

Rajim from Chhata village in Raipur district says in this village names of 32 poor dalit, adivasi and widow families have been removed declaring them as dead in the new Public distribution System beneficaries list . She alleges that Panchayat officials collected money from people for keeping their names in the list. PDS shop not opened in rain devastated village from a month

Rajim from Kasdol block in Chhattisgarh says there was heavy rain in the area in last few weeks and many houses have been broken but the Public Distribution System shop has not opened from more than a month. The shop has stock of subsidized rice but the shopkeeper says you do whatever you want but I will not open the shop. Para teachers have not been paid for five months
