Land taken for dam 4 years back, no compensation yet!

Bhan Sahu is talking to a farmer Gyanchand Sahu in Rajnadgaon district who lost his land 4 years back for construction of canal of Mogra dam but they are yet to get any compensation. He says our government is advertising that they are a caring government but if you listen to our story then you will understand how caring they are for the poor. We do not want Stone Crusher on our common land

A villager from an adivasi village in Chhattisgarh says though our Gram Sabha has rejected the prosposal a stone crusher is getting installed in the common land in our village with the help of police and administration. NMDC mines is taking away our land, how will we survive?

Mangal Kunjam is interviewing a villager near National Mineral Development Corporation mines in Dantewada who says his NMDC township wants to take their culivable land for building a bus stand and quarters for the workers. The villagers say not only the land taken for the stand but also nearby land will be destroyed which is their only source of income. They have complained to higher authorities but no one listens. Companies should return the land to as it was after mining...

Manoj Kumar from Kota in Rajasthan says there are lots of stone quarries in my area and there are many groups which raise the issue of mining. But there is no one to raise the issue of post mining. Once the mining is over they leave the area as it is and the area remains unuseful for agriculture.
