Ramchandar Singh, an adivasi from Adhaura block of Kaimur district in Bihar is tellign that they have sent a petition to collector that a scheme for tribal students has helped non tribals. There are no road connectivity in 104 villages in our block. They have also written to him about a dam where crores have been spent but it is already broken. Govt spent 5 lakhs but our classroom still leaking, We are unable to study...

Most killed in Coal mine accident were displaced who got no compensation
Litu Minj from Sundargarh district of Odisha is telling us that as per media reports 11 people had died on 10th August in Mahanadi coalfield Ltd. But affected people tell death toll should be 35. They say all the affected families are displaced from the mine who are yet to get compensation and was earning livelihood by picking coal and that’s how they died. Andhra dont accept us migrated Chhattisgarh adivasis as adivasis, Pls help
My name is Sushma. I am an adivasi girl from Chhattisgarh. My family was forced to come to Andhra due to Naxal threat. I study in class 11 but Govt of Andhra does not accept us as adivasis so I am forced to study in private college. We dont have drinking water and are falling ill. Agitation demanding forest rights to Baiga adivasis completes a year in MP
Dinesh from Mathna in Mandla district in Madhya Pradesh is telling us about an unknown protest which is completing one year this week. Forest department had destroyed crops and arrested 6 Baiga adivasis though they have put application for getting land deeds under forest rights act for the land they are using for years.
