Land rights cycle Yatra in Jaba block of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh has today reached Champagarh village. 600 dalits and adivasis live in the village. In year 2000-01 some dalits and adivasis got land deeds from the Govt but no one has got the possession of the land. They are still in possession of powerful people. Jagdish from Land rights cycle yatra has reached adivasi settlement of Akrari in village Jaitkhaja in Jaba block of Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh. He meets adivasis who tells him that they have been to Revenue officials 22 times in last 6 months but they are not helping get them land deeds though an order for the same has been passed by the tahsildar.
