Adivasi boy sings in Bhilali, our land, forest is submerged but we need to fight

Pavan Yadav fron Badwani district in Madhya Pradesh is helping us listen to a song by an adivasi boy whose house and farm has been submerged due to dam on Narmada. The boy is now studying in Badwani and singing in Bhilali language asking his adivasi breathren to awaken and fight against this injustice and also asks question when all our land, forest and religious places are submerged how will we survive. In 52 Rewa villages adivasis have got no land deeds under Forest Rights Act

Jagdish from Land Rights Cycle Yatra in Jaba block of Rewa in MP tells us that today the month long yatra has concluded where 2000 people from 200 villages participated. They gave a memorandum to administration demanding roads in 27 villages. The letter to Chief Minister says in more than 50 villages no adivasi have got land deeds under Forest Rights Act. Villagers take out rally protesting illegal land acquisition for Coal mining...

Alok Shukla from Chhattisgarh Bachao Andolan is telling us about a rally in Ghatbarra village in Surguja district. Adani company is doing mining in the area for Rajasthan Electricity board. After rally the villagers gave a meomorandum describing how Collector did an illegal Gram Sabha and how Adani has barricaded the village forest. This adivasi village has no road, school or handpump, Complaints dont work...

My name is Raju Akela. I am calling from Semaria block of Chatra district in Jharkhand. Today I am visiting a village called Kendutola. Around 500 adivasis live here. They are all farmers. This village neither has any road, or school nor any handpump. Indira Awas Yojna also does not work here.The villagers said they have been to collector few times demanding a road but authorities have done nothing for the village so far.
