Panchayat collected Rs 200 from each Dalit family but we're yet to get water

For same our Gram Panchayat collected Rs. 200 from each Dalit family but this water project is still not implemented.In summer villagers face huge water problem because there is no water source in the village. Half of us got land under Forest Rights but will keep applying, Keep fighting

Jagdish Yadav is in a workshop to learn the laws of Forest Rights Act and is talking to a Baiga Adivasi activist Korelal Devadia from Mandla district in MP who is telling him that he helped fill up forms of 59 adivasis and 33 of them have got land deeds for that forest land and are working on those land. Maharashtra village successfully stops Forest dept from cutting their forest...

Roopchand Dakhme from Ghati village in Kurkheda block of Gadchiroli district says in their village they have got Community Forest right of half the area they had demanded but even after that forest department tried to cut 1000 trees and have cut many. The village protested collectively and said under PESA act forest dept can not cut tree without Gram Sabha permission. He deamnds these forest officials should be punished. Crops destroyed due to recent rains in Bundelkhand but no official visits yet

Mastram is visiting Mathurapur village in Jhansi district in Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh where a farmer Kalicharan tells him that their entire crops has destroyed in recent heavy rains. He says he has spent around Rs 90,000 on the crop and is not going to get back more than 10,000. No govt official has visited to assess the damage.
