Pradeep from Alirajpur says Govt has caught liquor worth Rs 80 lakhs this month in Alirajpur district in MP. It is just tip of iceberg as this border district is used for supplying liquor to Gujarat from MP and Maharashtra. Similarly subsidized ration meant for adivasis in Maharashtra is smuggled to businessmen in MP using speed boats on Narmada. Pradeep is visiting Dahi in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. It is an Adivasi area of around 9000 people. He meets Bali bai who says they have Below Poverty line ration cards but not getting any subsidized ration from 3 months. They suspect it is being sold in market. Pradeep is visiting Gitada village in Panchayat Gulwat in Sondhwa block of Alirajpur district in MP where he meets Makram bhai who worked for a pond digging in March 2011 but yet to be paid full wages. He says 60 are yet to be paid whereas 90 have been paid. There is no work in the village in last 3 years after that work. many of them also dont have name in voter list. Dheerendra Singh Maliya is calling from Dharmajaigarh block in Raigarh of Chhattisgarh to complain that though 27 elephants and 64 people have died in man-elephant conflict here in last 15 years but Govt is not looking for a permanent solution. Forest dept has given some torch and fire crackers to villagers. He urges that Govt should declare this area as reserved and make an elephant corridor here so that elephant and man can co-exist. Law says daughters have equal right to property of father and Lilabai have got her name registered after fighting for a year but officials are still making her run from pillar to post before she gets access to the land.
