Pradeep is visiting Jobat village in Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh where he meets farmers who have occupied Govt land from 3 years since Govt submerged 13 villages in Jobat dam on Hathini river without giving them 5 acres of land each as legal compensation. The farmers tell him that Govt is trying hard to evict them but they will fight back and will not leave the Govt land where they are farming unless they get 5 acres of land each. Pradeep@8889113494

Govt taking our land by fraud for Dantewada airport, alleges adivasi villagers
Lalit Sodi is calling from Balud village in Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh saying some villagers were called by officials that there land will be taken for Dantewada airport but villagers refused. Yesterday the newspapers say that villagers have agreed to give their land for the airport. The villagers say they have not agreed and they are being cheated. Mohan Yadav is visiting Garjan Bija village in Pushparajgarh tahsil of Anuppur district in Madhya Pradesh where he meets a adivasi farmer Chhagru Baiga who tells him that Bewar ( shifting) farming where they mix 6-7 seeds together is more suitable to them. They have not got rights under forest rights act and Govt wants them to move but they dont want to go anywhere else and continue with traditional way of farming which they learnt from their ancestors. AIDS patients up 5 fold in 5 years mainly among migrant laborers in MP dist
Mastram from Tikamgarh district in Bundelkhand says though Govt has spent lakhs of rupees for AIDS awareness, the number of HIV +ve patients in last last five years have grown 5 folds. The increase is found mainly in Jatawa and Baldevgarh blocks of the district from where lots of people migrate to other areas in search of work.
