Ranjit Kumar Rai from village Jagrai Panchayat Pipra in Kathikhund block of Dumka district in Jharkhand says in their village there are 66 houses and none of the two hand pumps are functioning. One does not work and other throws dirty water. The village has no school and children need to go to nearby village. Rajim is visiting Pathiapali village in Kanjia Panchayat of Kasdol block of Baloda Bazar district in Chhattisgarh where she meets Kamal Barik who tells her that all 38 adivasis of his village have got land deeds under Forest Rights Act. But no Revenue Inspector visited them as per law and they were given half of the land they were farming. Rajim Ji is talking to head of Viklang Manch ( A platform for disabled) in Chhattisgarh who himself is a disabled person. He says they try to fight for rights of disabled people and have unit in many districts of the state.
