Vaid Dr HD Gandhi from Chhattisgarh says all parts of Mahua tree( (Madhuca longifolia) is useful especially flowers. Tribals use Mahua flowers as a health energizer by making sweet/laddu. For making sweet/laddu coarse grind 250 gms Mahua, 250 gms Tamarind, 250 gms Sal (Shorea robusta) seeds and add 250 gms Jaggery to it to hand roll medium lemon sized laddus( sweet).
