Yashwant Ramteke from Dantewada is saying that the work on Essar pipeline which takes away iron ore from Dantewada to Vishakhapatnam has again started. This pipeline goes through deep tribal areas which are under control of maoists. Earlier Maoists had destroyed the pipeline at many place and the work was closed for years. He says the restart of work has raised a question in people’s mind asking whether there has been a deal struck between Maoists and Essar. Police should investigate it, he says

He says the contractors complete the work of bridges and culvert but do not complete the work on roads giving Naxal threat as a reason. कलेक्टर आर प्रसन्ना ने पटवारियों के लिए भी खास निर्देश जारी किए। उनसे कहा गया उनके दौरे संबंधी विवरण बोर्ड पर अंकित किए जाए। यह भी कहा गया पटवारियों के लिए बनवाए गए शासकीय आवासों की मरम्मत की जाए और जहां जरूरी हो नए बनाए जाएं। राजस्व संबंधी छोटे मामलों के अलावा जाति प्रमाण पत्र, नामांतरण, बटवारा, नक्शा-खसरा से जुड़े आवेदन बिना देर किए निपटाए जाए।

एक अन्य बैठक में कलेक्टर ने अधिकारियों से कहा कि जिले के विभिन्न गांवों में मांझी चालकी सहित कोटवारों के खाली पड़े पदों पर जल्द नियुक्तियां की जाएं। यह घोषणा मुख्यमंत्री ने बस्तर दशहरे पर होने वाले मुरिया दरबार में की थी। कलेक्टर ने अधिकारियों से कहा कि हाट बाजार का निरीक्षण करें और बेची जाने वाली आम उपभोक्ता वस्तुओं की गुणवत्ता पर निगाह रखें।

Ramesh Agrawal from Jan Chetna says that Environment ministry has given a show cause notice to a housing scheme in Lavasa Pune because the work of that project had started without environment clearance. Jindal has started a 300 MW power plant in Tamnar in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh in the same fashion without any environment clearanace. But on 9th November the ministry has given go ahead to the Jindals. It is beyond normal comprehension that how come a ministry punishes one person for a crime while rewarding the other for the same
