He interviews two laborers there who are getting ready to migrate out of village in search of work. One of them had worked 9 weeks and another 7 weeks in NREGA last year but they have not been paid yet. Yashwant Ramteke says according to recently announced Excise policy all the liquor shops should be at a distance from school, hospital and main roads. But if you travel around Chhattisgarh you will find shops just next to these institutions and there is no effort to close them even after the policy announcement.
