Fertilizer is useful only if supplied in time, says Bastar farmer

Tulsi Ram Nag from village Narna district Bastar in Chhattisgarh wants officials to ensure timely distribution of fertilizer for the rice crop. He says the farmers did not get subsidized fertilizer last year as well and they are still struggling to pay their due loans. Request to separate sick animals from healthy ones

People face difficulty due to bandh call by Maoists

Own 200 acres of land, have two tractors, but on BPL list...

Ramanuj Tiwari from Umaria in Madhya Pradesh says people who own 200 acres of land and have two tractors also have Below Poverty Level cards but some poor do not have. When they go to sarpanch he says officer is asking for Rs 1000 and patwari is demanding Rs 500. If these people had this much money then they will not be in this state. Farmers not getting subsidized fertilizer from co-opertaives

Ramanuj Tiwari from Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh says we are reaching the end of sowin season but farmers are not getting subsidized fertilizer from co-operatives. The same fertilizer in open market is very expensive. Govt should act fast to help farmers, he says. After that he interviews a worker who worked on a well digging program of Govt but have not got his wages. Govt should also make payments to laborers in time, he says.
