70 worked for Govt in 07 still waiting for wages in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh...
Dilip Behera is visiting Patnaguda village of Jirampal Panchayat, Sukma district in Chhattisgarh and talking to Santosh Kawasi who says in Gondi that about 70 worked for road construction for 45 days in 2007. They’ve not received their wages. Appeals were made but progress has not been made.In a pond digging work 2 years back in same panchayat 50 had worked, some are also waiting for wages. Shahajan is visiting Narayanpuram village in Chnitur mandal of East Godawari district in Andhra Pradesh where an Adivasi Gangaiya tells him that they came from Chhattisgarh many years ago and since then have been living here but they don’t have proper road to their village till today.
