Some higher officers called the village secretary after that to make sure that she gets ration card. They tell him that local Public Distribution Shop owner has taken their ration cards( coupon) from 4-5 months and they have not got any subsidized grain since. Kamal Shukla is calling from Kanker District in Chhattisgarh says in Muragaon panchayat villagers need to walk 9-11 kms through hills to get their subsidized ration. It takes them almost a day to get their work done. Villagers have taken a decision in Muragaon gramsabha and appealed to collector to make Kanhagaon as the panchayat which is just 2-5 km in distance.
