In this part he says he was half fed in the Dantewada jail where he was kept for 4 months. Not only him but all were badly treated and if any one protested they were beaten up. They have given written complaint to officials quite a few times but there is no action. There is a handpump near a upper class landed person who does not allow dalits and adivasis to take water from there and the poor people are forced to fetch water from far. Sant Kumar Jagat from Kota in Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh says the officials are charging Rs 200 each from people who do not have NREGA job cards.
