People have requested for long to their representatives and officials for a stop dam. Now they have got together to make a dam themselves and the work have started. Yashwant Ramteke from Bacheli in Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh says National Mineral Development Corporation which has iron ore mines in the area uses double standards as far as safety of the workers is concerned. He says NMDC takes care well of its full time employees but daily wage laborers who are mainly local adivasis they are ignored.
