Dalit beaten up for trying to get a hair cut, No police action!
Bhikharam Boudh from Shergarh in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan is telling us that in a village nearby called Saba dalits are not allowed to have their hair cut in village barber shops. He says a dalit went for his hair cut on 19th June and was beaten by 4 men of upper caste. A FIR was filed the next day but police has not taken any action. Govt act for welfare of handicapped people must be implemented
Hariram Korram from Chhattisgarh Viklang Manch ( Handicaped association) is saying that handicapped people are facing various kinds of problem because of insensitivity of state govt officials. Panchayats do not have provisions to help handicapped people and the central law of 1995 is not known to handicapped people in remote areas and the state govt does not implement these laws. Basaguda killings: Adivasi Mahasabha rally in Bijapur demands CBI enquiry

We worked on a Govt building 3 years ago, still waiting for wages!

Odisha: 500 acre land under flooded water but Govt is not helping
Khuturam Sunani in Nuapada district of Odisha is talking to a farmer who tells him that his 32 acre of land has been submerged under Udanti river which flows from Chhattisarh to the area. The farmer says more than 500 acre of land in around 60-70 villages have gone under water but government has not done anything to help the farmers.
