Ramchandra Yadav from Rapapara, Sanmohar, tehsil – Bharatpur, district- Koriya, Chhattisgarh is alleging that local forest officers are selling logs from forests for personal benefits. He says some logs are even lyin on the roadside. The event was brought to the attention of the D.F.O but to no effect. The matter was raised on different platforms but that too didn’t work. We have 2 CFL bulbs which works less than 10 hours in a day but electricity bill is Rs 500-600 per month, says Sukhlal Sen from Padua village in Mangawan tehsil in Gangeo block of Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh.
