They have also decided to campaing about it in the nearby villages. Sajal Kumar from Dharmajaigarh in Raigarh district says a herd of 17 elephants have made life hell for farmers of the area from last few days. Lots of crop have been destroyed and today we have heard about death of two elephants. People have been calling forest department for help but no help has been provided. People have been demanding creation of elephant corridor but that has not been done either. 35 such elephants have been killed in the past in the same fashion. Himanshu Kumar is reading the second part of letter sent by Adivasi journalist Lingaram Kodopi who is languishing in Jagdalpur jail on charges of helping Maoists. In this part he says he was half fed in the Dantewada jail where he was kept for 4 months. Not only him but all were badly treated and if any one protested they were beaten up.
