A herd of elephants is roaming in our area from few days and today also they destroyed my crop of paddy and corn, says Kailash Singh Poya from village Devri in Pratappur block of Surajpur district in Chhattisgarh. We did not have electricity in our hospital and school though we were requesting everyone and had sent applications to many. Then we recorded a message on CGnet Swara and I am glad to share that today officers are putting up a transformer to give electricity. Kailash Singh Poya is visiting Pakni village in Pratappur block of Surajpur district in Chhattisgarh where he finds there is only one teacher in the middle school with 56 children. There was one more teacher before who got transferred but has not been replaced yet. The lone teacher says it is difficult for him to take care of 3 classes together.
