Govt coal mine operating on illegal land, Lease expired long back: RTI reply

My name is Ishwar Soren. I am calling from village Chhota Simra in Godda district in Jharkhand. In my area Lalmatia open cast mine is operational of Eastern Coal field ltd under their Rajmahal project. According to RTI reply the lease of land got expired in 2003 and new application was not proper. The villagers were given compensation for 15 years which expired long back. Govt is not taking action knowing that the mine is illegal. Sorenji@09199533265

Allegation: While digging for dam company found coal but hiding the fact...

Shivendra from Anuppur district in Madhya Pradesh is talking to a laborer who alleges that Moser Baer company is constructing a dam next to Son river there but they got coal after digging few feets. But the company has hidden that fact and has put a concrete wall over the coal block. All the laborers employed for the work have been instructed to not share this fact. Working in Coal mine run by Central govt from 18 years as Contract laborer...

JM Rangeela from Bokaro Jharkhand is talking to a contract employee of Central Coalfield Limited who tells that he is working in this Central Govt run mine from 18 years and have not been made permanent and dont get any benefits like medical.
