Road work connecting our village started 5 years ago, still work in progress...
Kishor Kumar Mohanty is visiting Girjatola basti in Saraigarh village in Gurundiya block of Sundargarh district in Odisha and talking to villagers who tell him that road construction work under NREGA is continuing from last 5 years but it is yet to be completed. Only handpump for 600 adivasis broken from 2 years, officicers don't listen...
Kishor Kumar Mohanty is visiting Ganjutola basti in Hathiguda village under Kuchaita panchayat Gurundia block of Sundargarh district in Odisha where villagers tell him that 600 Adiwasi people live there but the only handpump is broken from 2 years and they are forced to drink dirty water from a well and fall ill due to it. Handpump for 500 throws water with iron from 10 years, complaints dont work...
Kishor Mohanti is visiting Govardhanpara village in Lathiketa block of Sundargarh district in Odisha where he meets Krish Kumar who tells him that more than 500 villagers use a handpump which is throwing water with iron from last 10 years and is unusable for drinking. Govt surveyed adivasi village but no sign of electricity, pls call officer to help...
Mohan Kumhara traveling with CGNet Swara Citizen Journalism Awareness Yatra has reached Jamada village in Narnur tehsil of Adilabad district in Telangana where Adivasi villagers tell him that they don’t have electric connectivity in their village and are forced to live in the dark.
