Forest dept gives oral eviction orders to tribals in Gir forest

Ashok Shrimali from Gujarat says forest department has given oral eviction orders to 30 tribal families who lives inside the Gir National forest. At one side Govt is making special arrangements for tourists which create lots of problem for the wildlife but are evicting people living there for many years. NREGA workers association discovers many irregularities

Umesh Shrivas of MNREGA workers association is discussing about his experience of discovering irregularities in NREGA after visiting a village near Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. He says we found that officials have given wages to some workers but they have got less wages. Some have got no wages neither they are registered for their work. People protesting against illegal mines still in jail in Rajasthan

Ashok Shrimali says Meena ji had reported about a people’s movement against illegal mines in Sikar in Rajasthan. He says local people are continuing with their struggle. We're not getting old age pension from 4 months, Pls call officers to help us...

Around 300 of us are not getting old age pension from 4 months. This was complained to village sarpanch and secretary but they give only false assurances says villagers of Sarnadih village and panchayat of Balrampur district in Chhattisgarh to Sarala Shriwas.
