A child from a displaced labourers family remembers Gandhi

On Gandhi’s 63rd death anniversary, people appear to have forgotten him. But Jitendra Kumar, son of a migrant laborer remembers him with his poem:
गाँधी तू कहाँ गया था,
तेरा देश बट गया था
तेरे लोग बंट गए,
जातियां बट गईं
और अब तेरे राज्य भी बंट रहे हैं
गांधी तू कहाँ गया था
तेरा देश बंट रहा है
नदियाँ बंट गयीं
बंट गयीं फसलें
और अब तेरे जिले भी बंट रहे हैं
गांधी तू कहाँ गया था
तेरा देश मिट गया
मिट गयी सांझी विरासत

Will deaths due to official negligence become election issue?

Govt hospital demands 1.5 lakh to treat laborers child

KM Yadav ji is reporting from Kanpur. He sayss that the staff at a Govt hospital in Kanpur have demanded Rs 150,000 from Suresh, a poor labourer to treat his son, who is suffering from a hole in the heart. Suresh and his son were asked to leave and not return until they could pay the amount. Yadav ji says that despite several Government health schemes, we still have such incidents in the country. Above Poverty Line people not getting ration from last year

KM Yadav from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh says we all know about problem of ration to Below Poverty Line people but in one block in this district Above Poverty Line people have not got any ration from Dec 2010. APL people are those who does not earn that much that they can buy from open market so this is causing big problem to these people.
