The pipe line linked to tank is full of mud and the water cannot be pumped through it. There are 60 homes in the village and they have appealed to the RWS officials but no progress. This was 63rd death from 2001. 26 elephants have also died from 2004. This is the 7th death in area from 2005. Hundreds of elephants are roaming in the area and Govt is not making any arrangement to stop these deaths.
