My name is Santosh Marawi. I am calling from village Bamhi, post Sudhi in Mungeli district of Chhattisgarh. Our village is in the area of Achanakmar tiger reserve. An elephant has entered our area and is destroying our crop and houses. Forest department is not acting on it. People of 3 villages are very frightened and spending most of their time to keep the elephant away and are even unable to eat their food. I request forest department to urgently act and help us. Govt should punish officials harrasing handicapped people
My name is Santoshi Kansare. I am a handicapped girl and entitled to govt support but the officials harassed me a lot in last few years. I have fought back and is now getting back my rights slowly. I am educated and have resources to fight so I have done that but there are many handicapped brothers and sisters who are not equipped and accept their fate. I request the authorities to punish the people who harassed me and continue to do so and do the same with officials who harass other handicapped people stopping them from getting govt facilities. Sowing time but farmers not getting promised seed from Govt...
Santosh from Nagari in Dhamtari district in Chhattisgarh says Ramu Singh has not got seeds from Harit Kranti scheme of agriculture department yet. It is the time of sowing and he should get the seeds according to the scheme. There are more than a dozen farmers like him in the village who are not left with any seeds after the drought last year. No NREGA work in monsoon, laborers are suffering...
Janardan Mahto from Dhanbad district of Jharkhand says the monsoon has arrived and has given relief from heat and also the farmers have started work on their farm. But now the unorganised laborers have no work because NREGA work has also stopped from 15th June. All water sources in my village have dried up thanks to mining
Janardan Mahto from Ketulia village in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand says thanks to a coal mine in his village all the drinking water sources in the village have dried up. People need to walk 2/3 kms to fetch drinking water. River Damodam flows next to the village but access to the river has been closed by the mining company.
