After no rain for weeks now heavy untimely rain harming farmers in Jharkhand

Monoculture plantation by forest dept destroying bio-diversity of our forests...
My name is Raju Kumar. I am calling from Chatra district of Jharkhand. My district is filled with forest from all sides but if you go near the forest you will hardly find any transdition trees and they are filled with teak plantation. He alleges that Forest department is planting only commercial and foreign trees and destroying the diversity of our forests. Situation of Birhor primitive tribals has not changed since independence

Govt is running special welfare schemes for Birhor from the days of independence but the situation of Birhors has not improved. It will be better to use crores spent on Durga Puja on welfare of poor people...

This looks all well but if you look at the poor people around then it looks all waste. No rain from a month, Paddy crop is drying up in Chatra district Jharkhand

The earth has developed cracks in many places due to absense of moisture.Had there been ponds and dams to collect water farmers could have used them.
