Live report from demonstration in front of NMDC demanding jobs to locals...

Mangal Kunjam is calling from Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh where thousands of villagers and members of All India Trade Union Congress and Communist Party of India are demonstrating against National Mineral Development Corp today. In 50 years the company has employed very few locals and waste is dumped on fields causing great damage to adivasis. A memorandum was submitted to reserve jobs for locals and save environment. Adivasis running pillar to post to apply for Forest Rights, officials harassing...

Jagdish Yadav is visiting Birpur village of Rewa district in MP and talking to adivasi villagers who say that they went to SDM to apply for forest rights but he sent them to Revenue Inspector, Sarpanch and secretary for signatures who don’t respond. 50 Adivasis applied for Forest Right, No response yet, Officials don't respond...
