Lalsu Nogoti is calling from Kondagaon in Chhattisgarh and talking to Ramdevi from Ghodagaon village ,Makdi block and Lokeswari from Benusri village who say they have been cooking midday meal from long but Govt has not issued midday meal fund from 2013 and shopkeepers have also stopped giving groceries on credit. Govt spent 49 lakhs but no water in dam, 50 still waiting for wages after 5 years...
Naresh Bunkar is calling from Thengatola village under Kandawani Panchayat in Pandariya block of Kabirdham district in Chhattisgarh and says a check dam was constructed in 2009-10 under NREGA with 49 lakh rupees. There is no water in the dam. Also the payment of 50 laborers for 3 weeks is still due. As the dam is located in a forest no body looks after it. Solar plant failed within 2 months, Adivasi village of 90 families living in dark...
Chandmani Sahandil is calling from Jorabasti village, Pangdi Panchayat, Gurundiya block, Sundergarh district in Odisha where villagers say a Solar Plant was installed in 2012 for the village but the plant failed within 2 months. 90 families live here and are living in dark. Govt dug deep tube well in our adivasi village but it serves only 25% people...
Bhajan Bhalavi is calling from Harduli village of Dhanora Tehsil, Seoni district in MP where villagers tell him that it is an Adivasi village with about 400 families. Govt has dug a deep tube well but it serves only 25% of the village. Rest of the village is facing scarcity of water. Appeals were made to PHE dept but no action has been taken so far. 4500 school midday meal cooks not got wage from 20 months, pls call officers...
Kailash Giri is calling from Bokaro in Jharkhand and says payment for mid-day meal cooks is due from March 2013 in entire Bokaro district. They get 1,000 rupees per month but only 10 months of payment is made in a year.
