Child labor still continues in Rajasthan stone mines

Though Govt has made a law that every child should go to school but not only many children are doing hard work in the mines but they are also becoming victim of bad intoxicating habits. Companies should return the land to as it was after mining...
Manoj Kumar from Kota in Rajasthan says there are lots of stone quarries in my area and there are many groups which raise the issue of mining. But there is no one to raise the issue of post mining. Once the mining is over they leave the area as it is and the area remains unuseful for agriculture. 300 Dalit activists blacklisted by administration in Odisha!
Fakirmohan Jagat from Nuapada district of Odisha says administration has black listed more than 300 people in the district under Gram Panchayat election rule no 89. Majority of black listed people are dalits. He says administration is doing this to stop them for raising issues related to dalits which is a misuse of law and contempt of constitution. Adivasi festival to welcome new crop Nawai celebrated

Adivasis will have to fight to get their legitimate rights...
Rajesh Kannoje is telling us about an Adivasi day celebration in Badwani district of Madhya Pradesh. He says the speakers remembered the adivasi freedom fighters like Khwaja Naik who martyred fighting the British but the constitutional rights are not given to adivasis today. Panchsheel policy was talked about in 1950s and similarly Forest Rights act is not properly implemented. He says Adivasis will have to fight to get their legitimate rights.
