The women tells him that they are visiting the bank regularly since forming their group 6 months ago but the manager is refusing to open a bank account. Jagdish Ji is talking to some adivasis who will be affected by proposed Atomic power plant in Chutka in Mandla district in MP. They tell him that they were once displaced by Bargi dam and now they don’t want to be displaced again and don’t want to give their land. Earlier Govt said 54 villages will be affected by pollution but now they are saying over 500 will. 20 kms streach of river narmada will also get polluted. We request all of you to stop this. Jagdish from Rewa MP says we reported on Swara about water pumps from Public health and Engineering dept being broken and some mechanics visited and repaired some hand pumps. But after that on 11th June the department has issued a press note saying all pumps are repaired. Jagdish is visiting Ambedkar nagar Dabhora in Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh where a water pump is broken where 2000 dalits used to get water from last 2 weeks. Request to officials has not helped.
