Handpump in bad condition in adivasi village from months, officers don't listen...
Chitrakon is calling from Kathaundi village in Duddhi block of Sonbhadra district in Uttar Pradesh where villagers tell him that around 20 scheduled tribe families live here but handpump is in very bad condition. It is throwing dirty water after running half an hour. People are suffering. This was complained to officials but no one is paying attention. Old, widows not getting pension from year, complaints to officers don't help...
Sarla Shriwas visiting Kalyanpur village and Panchayat,post Baraula thana Panwar tahsil Tyothar,Jaba block, Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh and talking to villagers. They tell her that old, widows in the village who used to get pension before are not getting it now. About 20 old and widows have not got pension from 1 year. Our crops got destroyed in recent hailstorm, No survey yet for compensation...
