Dhan Singh Marawi from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh says he is a agriculture worker with organisation called Jan Swasthya Sahyog. Dilip Singh from Daily wage earners association in Lucknow says though daily wage earners play a very important role in upkeep of a city like Lucknow but government gives no facilities to these people coming from nearby districts. He said a recent survey has found that 18,000 people sleep on the footpath in the city. He says they demand that in every locality of 1 lakh people government must arrange for at least 2 night shelters so these people can have a decent life
