Monika Marawi is visiting Kamthi village in Pandaria block of Chhattisgarh where she meets Manikram Patel an old farmer who says that he used to use cow dung for his crops before but started using chemical fertilizer later which is harming his crop. He again wants to use organic manure and looking for support to know more about it. He grows rice, vegetables and kodo and would like to know what kind of organic manure and pesticide to be used so that crop is not harmed which is happening while using chemical fertilizers.

Ghanshyam is talking to a farmer Suresh Patel in Kamthi village in Pandaria block of Kabirdham district who tells him that his Gram crop is affected by Ukta (wilt) disease. As advised by Village Agriculture officer he treated it with medicine which helped a bit but now his vegetable crop is also affected by the same disease.
